CCMovies is the home of the captioned videos that I have made. It is just in the early stages of development, but it contains the best way to view the trailers, allowing you to see the movie poster and summary, and to use the full version of the player which allows a fullscreen view.

It currently contains captioned movie trailers – I try to track what is opening in Open and Closed Captioned movies, and create trailers for movies that IFTC has not created.

It’s not just for movie trailers though. If you see a google video or a you tube video that you would like to see captioned, post your request, and I will see about captioning it. Humorous videos, educational videos, commercials. Even if you have a vlog that you can provide written ASL, I can translate the rest into full written English.

It’s here for you!

Thanks for all you do, Bill…. I appreciate it so much even if I don’t comment.

Thanks again! :)

Fabulous work, Bill! You’re a true hero to the many deaf and hard of hearing movie goers who need captions to follow along with the films.

My kid sister is hearing impaired and is also unable to talk. She loved this clip..why do you think no one has thought of doing this before? What a great idea!

Hello, I’m a big fan of CC movies. But my biggest pet peeve regarding CC movies at theatres are the light yellow text they use.

Case in point, the James Bond movie “Quantum of Solace”. I could only read approx. 50% of the captions due to the light color background (mostly white) and the light yellow text. When they were speaking in foriegn language, the captions were in dark yellow, which was really easy to read.

Why can’t they use the dark yellow captions on all CC movies. We pay the same price as the hearing public do. This doesn’t seems fair to the deaf community. Where’s the fairness?

Hal,
You can’t expect hearing people to be able to accommodate deaf people’s every little wish and need. Perhaps you’d like a few hearing slaves who take care of all your demands and requests?
Complaining that the light yellow C.C. didn’t work for one movie is nitpicking. Yes, deaf are entitled to their rights, but you are behaving like you are king and hearing are supposed to expect your every need. Not possible for ANY disabled person, including deaf or h.o.h.
Just be glad that you have access to closed captioned movies. I live in an area where the nearest captioned movie theater is 5 hours away.
So quit your bitching about fairness, and appreciate that you already have plenty of deaf resources at hand.

Hi! I have a young, teenage, deaf daughter. I’d love it if she and her friends could watch the music video “Stupid Girl” by Pink. It has a good message for girls this age. Thanks for the videos you’ve captioned. It’s great!
