Microsoft Shows It’s Committment to Accessiblity

M$ showed it’s committment to accessiblity today by including a video on the homepage of their new “Decision Engine” with their newish technology Silverlight.

With no Captions.

I used their fancy new facebook url “http://www.facebook.com/Bing” to let them know what I thought.

    I left a comment on Bing’s FB page.. and they responded to me with this:

    Hi Jeannette — Unlike a TV network, Bing doesn’t host video content. We crawl the Web to find videos on sites created by others. Thus, if a video doesn’t have closed captions, Bing Video Search cannot provide them.
